This activity takes inspiration from the many leaves found at this time of year.

You need:

A glue gun

Card

Foil

Sharpies

Draw a selection of leaves on the card.  Keep them reasonably big so that you can add details.  Using the hot glue, follow the lines you have drawn, adding in the veins of the leaves.  Once the glue is cool, cut out the leaf shape.  Spread some glue onto the reverse side of a piece of foil.  Carefully place the foil over the leaf and press down to reveal the raised sections.  Wrap the foil around the edge of the leaf.  Use the sharpies to add colour and make the raised areas stand out.

Why not make a group of leaves and hang them from a stick to make an autumn mobile?
