As an art graduate and experienced primary school teacher, I understand the importance of creative exploration and expression.   What might look like ‘messy play’ to an outsider is actually a crucial step in your child finding out about the world.   However, as a mum to two children, I know that it is not always ideal for these creative discoveries to take place at home (there are many stains on my furniture that stand in testament to this!).   I founded Art Explorers to create a place in which parents and children could be free to investigate and explore art and crafts together without restrictions.   Each half term is planned around a theme and the activities will support EYFS goals.   The emphasis is very much on your child’s personal creative journey and, of course, making sure they have lots of fun along the way!
